Theatre Degrees at NGU |

|
In the fall of 2003 North
Greenville College (now University) instituted the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre as a new major. The program began with 4 confirmed
majors at the freshman and sophomore levels and two full time faculty
members. In the fall of 2008, 29 students are declared theatre majors
and several others are minors and interdisciplinary majors. The faculty
now includes 4 full time and 2 part time professionally-credentialed individuals.

The mission of the Department of Theatre Arts is to prepare students for graduate studies and/or professional work in the theatre as mature Christians and artists. |
