(BJU campus location only – downtown location is not accepted for this credit)

 Students desiring credit for touring either of these 2 museums must complete the following form and submit a hard copy of it to the CEVT office (M-8 bottom floor behind Turner). Either type your answers or write in clear, legible handwriting. In addition to this completed form staple a signed receipt from the museum, showing the date and time you visited. For BJU get the receipt in the gift shop; for Grnvl County ask at the reception desk after your tour. To receive credit for your visit you must have the form completed in some detail (paragraphs not sentences) and the signed receipt attached.

  1. Describe any special exhibits other than the museum's permanent collection. 

  2. What were the most ancient and most recent works or movements exhibited?

  3. Which particular period or movement did you find most engaging? Why?

  4. Which artist and work (title & date) did you find most engaging? Why?

  5. Did you find your museum experience positive or negative? Explain the pros & cons.

  6. Do you feel that public tax money is spent well on art museums and collections?

Explain your views.

  7. Write a brief argument that would encourage others to visit the exhibit you attended.
