Prayer Is a Threat to the Enemy
For the last several weeks, we have been studying the
necessity of the armor of God for every believer in our faculty/staff prayer
meetings on Tuesdays at 8:45 a.m. As Paul concludes this section on
spiritual warfare In Ephesians 6:18, he writes, "With every prayer and
request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and stay alert in this, with all
perseverance and intercession for all the saints. Prayer is not only a
part of our protection from the enemy, it is also a weapon in spiritual
warfare. Satan and his kingdom are threatened when God's people pray.
Stay alert and pray for each other, that many more will come to know Christ,
that believers with be strengthened in their faith, and that God would be
glorified through our university.
